Faith in Archaeologists - Episode 75

On today's episode we talk to one current and one former archaeologist that are both religious and balancing religion and archaeology. One was a former SHPO and one is a Nun. I've always wondered how someone can reconcile religious beliefs with a field that seems to actively refute much of what's in the bible and other religious texts. We tackle those questions and more on this week's episode.

ARPA Violations - Episode 66

We spend this episode talking about the recent case from Washington State where three university professors were charged with several counts related to allegedly taking artifacts from several sites without proper permits. The outcome of this case could change the way the Forest Service writes and enforces ARPA permits for all archaeologists. We'll be watching this one closely.

What do you think? Were they wrong, right? What would you do?
