Producer

A producer is someone that researches guests, books them, and lets them know what to expect on the show. It involves keeping up on current events, emailing and calling scientists and authors, doing pre-show interviews to determine a fit, and scheduling for the interview. The Producer would also fill out our Trello cards for the shows and let the hosts know what’s up.

The work for this depends on the show you are producing, some shows will be weekly and require a larger time commitment and others will release monthly.

The expected time commitment for a monthly show would be up to 5 hours in a month.

Social media

We are looking for enthusiatic volunteers to help us promote our network and shows across social media like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter/X. This could be scheduling content to coincide with a show’s release, making funny memes or getting our audience engaged and keeping them up to date.

marketing

The APN takes money to run and just like any other venture in media, we need advertisers, sponsors, and underwriters. The person for this job would put together short agreements, handle payment, and get the ad copy to the show hosts for recording. They would also plan and book the spots using our dynamic ad insertion platform on Zencastr.

Design

We are looking for creative people to help the network stay ahead when it comes to eye-catching podcast show art or helping the social media team. We also have a TeePublic store, where we can setup an affiliation with you as an artist and you will recieve a commission for every item with your design is sold.
