Career Monitors and Mental Health - Ep 162

In some areas of the country archaeologists are monitoring for construction projects. That’s not unique. What is unique is that some of these archaeologists are monitoring for years at a time and they’re losing their skills. We talk about that, and, mental health issues in contract archaeology.

Morale and Monitoring - Episode 61

crm podcast 4.jpg

On todays episode we Stephen, Doug, and Chris talk about ways to increase, or decrease, crew morale. It's an important topic and one that shouldn't be taken lightly. If the crew isn't happy then the project simply won't run smoothly. This can result in crew members quitting and not wanting to work there again, budget overruns, or many other terrible things. It's a big deal.

We also talk about monitoring. What should you do? What shouldn't you do? Seems pretty straight forward, but, there are a lot of complexities and issues that people new to monitoring might not have thought about.
